For a simple and well known combination, this tea really nails the ginger balance. Might be a tad stronger than you're used to from generic brands, but that's the point.

Perfect amount of ginger!

This tea had the perfect amount of ginger. Many ginger teas are over the top. This one was so suble and perfect with the lemon. It's now a favorite.

The quality and freshness of the ingredients is on-point. I was disappointed, however, that the lemon was barely detectable as a taste note because it was overridden by the ginger. The citrus plays a background to the ginger in this blend, which is not what I was expecting, especially with “lemon” listed first in the name. Thus, as is, it’s just not really for me because i was fully expecting sweet citrus notes to be prominent. If you really like the spicy bite and sweetness of fresh ginger, you’ll like this.

My favorite tea (when done right). This is a very easy tea to screw up and Tae mixes it to perfection. Gunpowder can be a very bitter and overpowering leaf, but this blend tempers it's worst qualities while highlighting its rich flavors. 10/10

Probably one of my favorite teas that I've tried from Tae. The tea leaves are VERY fragrant and hit you with powerful notes of nutmeg and coconut, but once brewed the coconut falls into an aromatic background while the nutmeg blends into a full bodied black tea. Very good experience.
