Meet The Chai Box
Monica Sunny is the Founder and CEO of The Chai Box. Growing up in India as a little girl, Monica cherished the tradition that her grandmother instilled in her of enjoying chai together as a family every morning.
"Every day, first thing in the morning, I would wake up and prepare chai (the Hindi word for 'tea') with my mom or grandmother. We'd take out our spice box and mix and blend, and the whole family would enjoy it together."
Monica immigrated to the U.S. when was nine years old and made her first chai blend when she was twelve. The rest is history -- her chai blends have been loved by thousands across the world, including Oprah who dubbed her chai one of her "Favorite Things" in 2021.
